DR SPROCKET

DR SPROCKET

A No Class original drama, Dr. Sprocket is a lyrical and nostalgic monologue inspired by the rapid changes in cinema.

The film aims to transport the audience back in time to rediscover the lost skills of film making and sharing, encouraging an appreciation of the sounds, textures and friends of those days gone by.

The beautiful Savoy Cinema in Heaton Moor was the perfect location for this warm, wistful and melancholy trip down memory lane. Its deep cushioned seats, ornate handrails and plush velvet curtains provided a rich backdrop to a world filled with cinematic ghosts of pictures past.

Scott Coker’s wonderfully sensitive, soft and seething performance was complemented by hazy dreamlike memories, vintage film textures and a stirring soundtrack.
