Spark a Light
Spark a Light
We were commissioned by E.ON and MHP Group to bring to life the climate change poem "Spark a Light" by the Coventry Poet Laureate John Bernard.
This was a fantastic opportunity to make something cinematic, beautiful and meaningful right here in our hometown of Coventry and we brought together a broad and diverse crew from across the city.
Our shooting schedule was bursting at the seams as we set out to showcase as much of Coventry's highlights as possible, including Coventry Cathedral, Coventry University, the Coventry Building Society Arena, Fargo Village, Gosford Park Primary School, Coventry Boys & Girls Club and The Pod Cafe.
You can read more about this project in John Bernard’s article on the E.ON blog.
Alongside this hero film we also created a shortform behind-the-scenes documentary, telling the story of the project and giving key stakeholders the opportunity to discuss their role in the work.
Both the hero film and behind-the-scenes documentary were then cut down into short social versions in multiple different aspect ratios, ensuring the client got the maximum impact from these pieces of content.
