The Magician’s Elephant was a stunning Christmas show created by the RSC. Its use of elegant puppetry, heartfelt performance and beautiful songs brought a feeling of joy and wonder to the audience.

Since this was such a special production, the RSC commissioned No Class to create a multicamera recording to lovingly preserve the show and present it to a wider audience.

This production was captured with several high-end cameras with cinema lenses and a rich sound mix, all designed to show off the production to the highest quality and make the viewer feel as connected to the production as possible.

We worked closely with the stage teams to ensure that the show was captured in its best light. The completed show capture was brought back to our skilled editors who combined the various angles and movements to enhance the performance, before adding a punchy colour grade that really made each scene jump out of the screen.
